SELF-DEFENSE TIPS FOR WOMEN: HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF, DEFEND YOURSELF AND GUARD YOURSELF AGAINST DANGER

Intro: Women’s self-defense tips can be hard to come by, despite the plethora of information that exists online. While it has been said that knowledge is power, when it comes to specific self-defense tactics, it isn’t always enough. Knowledge alone won’t help you escape an attacker; you also need to know how to apply your skills in a real-world situation if you plan on staying safe from harm. While it’s impossible to be 100% prepared for every possible dangerous situation, arming yourself with the proper knowledge and tools can give you a better chance of defending yourself and staying safe.

Self-defense tips for women in the car

Imagine this scenario: You’re alone, driving your car. It’s dark outside, and the only illumination is from the street lamps. Traffic is light and the road is clear. Suddenly, you see a pair of red tail lights approaching you at a distance. But as they draw nearer, things get strange. Why are they slowing down? Why aren’t they changing lanes to pass you?

When you’re driving, you are vulnerable to attacks from several points around you. The best self-defense is to first identify the possible dangers and threats to your safety and then learn how to defend yourself against these attacks.

Here you have a series of self-defense tips for women in the car on how to protect themselves from carjacking and different kinds of attacks.

1) Always keep your doors locked.

2) Don’t stop if you have a flat tire or if someone tries to flag you down. Drive to a police station or a gas station.

3) Keep your windows rolled up at all times unless it’s too hot and you need some air circulation. Even then, don’t let them go down more than is necessary.

4) Be aware that there are many people who can attack you while you are driving: people walking on the street, cars parked along the road, people in buses or other cars… Stay alert and pay attention to your surroundings at all times.

5) If someone tries to bump into your car from behind, don’t stop. Keep driving until you can find a crowded place like a gas station to stop at.

How to defend yourself at home

Crime can happen anywhere, at any time.

You may think that you’re safe inside your own home, but you can never be too careful about the safety of yourself and your family.

There are some simple tricks to protect yourself from intruders and accidents. We’ve compiled simple self-defense tips to help you stay safe in your own home:

-Know your surroundings and be aware of what’s going on around you. The more you know, the better equipped you’ll be to defend yourself from attackers.

-If someone breaks into your house or apartment building, try not to panic. You should also call 911 immediately so the police can come to help you as soon as possible.

-If an attacker tries to grab you from behind, quickly break their grip by hitting them in the crotch or throat with your elbow (if they’re coming up behind).

-If there’s an intruder inside your home, try locking all doors and windows before calling 911 – this will stop them from escaping if they escape through one exit while waiting for police officers outside another door or window entrance.

Keep a can of pepper spray on your keychain. Carry a personal alarm or safety whistle in your purse

First, keep a can of pepper spray on your keychain or bring safety keychains too as your extra self-defense device. This is something I do for every single woman I know—it’s always in my purse, too. You never know when you’ll need it! Pepper spray is also a great way to protect yourself from animals if you’re ever attacked by one—don’t be afraid to use it!

Second, carry a personal alarm or safety whistle in your purse. If you’re walking alone at night and feel like someone is following you or acting suspiciously, you can use one of these to draw attention to yourself. The high-pitched sound can also scare off attackers if you find yourself in danger.

Third, don’t be afraid to make eye contact with strangers—and don’t avoid looking people in the eyes if they make eye contact with you first. If someone attacks you and you’ve made eye contact with them before, they’re less likely to do so again because they’ll be afraid that you’ll recognize them afterward.

Learn how to fight from a self-defense class or develop your own effective self-defense skills.

Learn how to fight from a self-defense class near your house.

Fighting can be learned from a self-defense class. You will learn how to strike and defend yourself. The class will teach you how to fight using body language, striking, and defending yourself. The instructor will also teach you valuable skills like how to remove the element of surprise from your attacker and side-step their reach, and how to take advantage of the natural weapons your body has built-in (like your elbows and knees).

But if you don’t want to attend such classes, you can still be a beginner and develop some super effective self-defense skills. These are the top three moves I would recommend any woman learn in order to defend herself in dangerous situations.

As you read through these, realize that these are not meant to be used against someone who is bigger or stronger than you. These moves are designed for situations where you are physically equal or even slightly stronger than your attacker.

First, use your environment as a weapon.

This could be anything from gravel on the ground if you’re outside to a heavy vase if you’re inside someone’s home. You just need something that is heavy and hard enough to do some damage if you hit someone with it.

Second, use your body as a weapon.

If there’s no environmental object handy, then you can use your own body instead. For example, if someone’s trying to grab you, their hands are right there – so just go ahead and bite them! They’ll never see it coming and they’re going to let go of you pretty darn fast when they feel your teeth sinking into their flesh. A kick between the legs works well too because most
