Creating a Domain Name
After you are sure that your idea is scalable and will work on a global scale, then you need to pick a name for it. But do not worry too much about finding an amazing or cool name. Get into action; GoDaddy comes with a domain search tool that allows you to check for available domains. From there, create yourself a bucket of free hosting (GoDaddy is preferred) – AWS Partner in Cambodia and decide upon your plan and resources. Once you have done all these things, head over to AWS Console and sign up for AWS Free Tier (1 year). This will give you enough time to play around with AWS services without paying anything! Installing WordPress
You can install WordPress from a hosted server, a local computer or from your EC2 instance. We’ll be using Amazon’s EC2 for hosting and WordPress for blogging. Log into your AWS Account and create a new Key Pair under IAM & Security -> Key Pairs. Name it as you wish, such as MyWordPressKeyPair, download and save it somewhere safe (We will use it later). Once you have your key pair, visit EC2 Dashboard under Services tab in navigation menu on left-hand side. Click on Launch Instance in blue button near top right corner of page.
Adding Plugins
After creating an AWS account, you will want to go ahead and install our plugins so that you can connect your domain name to your site. First, log into your AWS control panel. Next, click on Services and select Plugins from there. Click Add a plugin and search for WordPress. You should see two results: WordPress MU Domain Mapping Plugin and WordPress Dynamic Domain Mapping Plugin. Select WordPress MU Domain Mapping Plugin and then click Install Now. Once it is installed, you will need to activate it. To do so, visit your Installed Plugins page (Services > Installed Plugins) and look for WordPress MU Domain Mapping under Available Plugins; check its box then click Apply Changes at the bottom of the page. When prompted to make changes to your database tables, click Yes.
