If you have been looking for the procedures to get possession of plots in Lahore Smart City, then you have just landed at the right place. This blog post will serve as a roadmap for acquiring possession of a property in Lahore Smart City.

Process:

The process begins with the member applying for the Statement of Dues (SOD) and the Post-Dated Cheques Statement (PDSC). Then, the applications will be sent to the Building Control Department (BCD).

Still, before applying for possession, the members must pay the possession fee and attach the deposit slip to their applications. However, after verifying the data, the Building Control Department issues the Statement of Dues (SOD) and the Post Dated Cheques accordingly.

Half of the task has been done because now the members will fill out the prescribed application and attach these documents.

  • MS letter &/or Allotment Certificate (Copies)
  • Possession Fee / Charges deposit slips
  • Post Dated Cheques (PDC)
  • CNIC (Copies)
  • Affidavit

The Building Control Department starts processing the application to approve it as soon as possible. The member will receive an invitation from the Building Control Department to get on-ground possession and a possession letter.

Now the members can apply for permits for construction. However, they are eligible to start the construction within six months from the due date of handing over possession.
